Become a part of the movement that aims to achieve the necessary proficiency in Ethical AI literacy and gain the ability to make responsible, ethical, smart and effective personal and business choices in the era of Artificial Intelligence. If you want to promote innovation, ensure that AI applications deliver business value in an ethical and compliant way
The Ethical AI Literacy Programme is a 4-part course which is structured to provide all the necessary information and tools to enable the participants to comprehend and deal with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a responsible way. Each 2-hour session focuses on an important element of AI, such as AI principles, AI use cases, ethical considerations, and the applicable regulations for UK businesses, to provide the attendees with a comprehensive learning experience that is principles based and practical at the same time. Participants are encouraged but not required to attend all sessions.
The course is subdivided into four sessions and each of them starts at 10am and will end at 12pm on the day. They will all take place at the Santander Work Cafè Triton Square, London. The 1stand 2nd session are now open for enrolment.
1st Session: 23rdSeptember 2025 - Demystifying AI Agents – Do AI Agents have Moral and Ethical Values?
Unpack the concept of “agentic AI” — systems that appear to make decisions or act independently. This session explores what gives AI the illusion of agency, how these systems are actually designed and controlled, and the social, ethical, and political implications of attributing autonomy to machines. You will learn to separate science fiction from reality and critically assess where responsibility lies when AI systems are deployed in real-world contexts.
2nd Session: 17th October 2025 - The Human Replacement Question – Redefining Work in the Age of Automation
Address the elephant in the room: will AI replace human workers, and what does responsible AI adoption look like for all businesses? This session moves beyond fearmongering to examine realistic scenarios for AI integration that enhance rather than eliminate human roles. You'll explore case studies of successful human-AI collaboration, learn to identify which tasks should (and shouldn't) be automated, and develop ethical frameworks for workforce transitions. Perfect for business owners grappling with AI adoption decisions and early-career developers designing systems that impact employment.

3rd Session: 14th November 2025 - The Privacy Paradox – What Happens to Your Data in the AI Black Box
Dive into the hidden data lifecycle that powers AI systems and what it means for business privacy. This session reveals how AI models are trained on vast datasets (possibly including your business data), where that information goes, and who really controls it. You'll learn to navigate data retention policies, understand the difference between on premise and cloud-based AI solutions, and develop strategies for protecting sensitive business information while still leveraging AI tools. Essential for any business handling customer data or confidential information in an AI-powered world.

4th Session: 12th December 2025 - The Key to Ethical AI Adoption: Building Your AI Strategy – From Opportunity to Governance Framework
Learn how to develop a comprehensive AI adoption strategy that balances innovation with risk management for your organisation. This session walks through a proven framework for identifying and classifying AI opportunities using systematic approaches to evaluating where AI can genuinely improve your business outcomes versus where it might be unnecessary hype. You'll discover how to assess AI-related risks in the context of emerging regulations like the EU AI Act, and understand what an effective AI governance framework looks like in practice. We'll cover key governance components including risk classification systems, approval processes, and monitoring mechanisms that enable safe AI and Ethical experimentation while protecting your business from potential pitfalls. Perfect if you want to move beyond ad-hoc AI adoption toward a structured, ethical, strategic approach that delivers measurable value.
